Question datebook event time problem

I beamed the datebookDB from a visor to a Palm 505. Somehow the start times of all datebook events are now three hours later. Is there a way to do a mass-update of all datebook events to move them three hours earlier? Or is there maybe a way to open the datebook file on the desktop and adjust the dates there? I tried to open the datebook.dat file with Excel and Notepad, but it seems to be crypted and I cannot find any date fields. Is there maybe a program that uncrypts that file?

Thanks,

withake

This sounds like it may be a problem with the time zone setting on the 505.

RE: Datebook event time problem

I am in agreement with Jupe. You also might try deleting the data beamed and re-beam the data to your 505.

Jupe/Gvbfan:

Thanks for your input. Unfortunately all data was erased from the visor before I noticed the problem on the 505. In the meantime I correct the problem the hard way (updating all datebook entries with palm desktop). Thanks again for your replies.

Regards,

Dirk
