Thought I'd start a new thread so people can weigh in with their Visor reviews. To clarify, this means no evangilizing about the Palm III you just bought at ValueAmerica, no complaining about Handspring's customer service, no whining about ship dates, and no threats, veiled or otherwise... just comments on the Visor technology itself.

I just got mine today, and I think it rocks. I ended up getting the Blue, and in spite of the pictures you've seen, it's something you have to judge with your own eyes... I think this particular shade of blue lies halfway between that shown on Handspring's web site,
and the pale shade that someone else was displaying in this forum a few days ago.

The snap-on cover is VERY easy to put on and take off (in spite of what earlier reports said), feels quite solid, and I have no doubt it will protect the front of the Visor from damage.

The stylus feels a little cheaper than the ones which ship with a Palm... same kind of construction, but whenever I write with it, it feels like I'm in danger of scratching my screen (probably some excess "flash" from the molding process... nothing a little fine-grain sandpaper won't handle).

The battery cover also feels a little on the cheap side... the latch feels like it could snap pretty easily, if enough pressure was exerted on it.

The cradle seems more rugged than I was expecting, so I'm pleasantly surprised about that.

Overall (with only a few minor exceptions, the Visor seems like a really solid device, well manufactured, etc. I'd write some more, but I have to get started putting software on it!!!
