Question

I need a little help. I want to buy the PDA Panache custom visor stylus. I'm currently using a flipcover with my VDX, so I'm wondering if I should get the stylus that sits flush in the silo of the visor...or should I just get the model that juts out a little bit. Any thoughts will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

If you're afraid that the stylus will stick out too much, I would recommend against buying the Panache stylus. From what I've heard, it sticks out pretty far.

I would recommend getting the Pentopia Chameleon stylus. This is by far the best stylus I've seen for the visor. It costs $14.95. It is shaped like the original stylus--with the wedge at the top for easy removal. It is light and includes a pen and reset pin inside. The tip won't scratch the screen and in fact looks exactly like the tip from the Panache stylus. The best part is that it DOES NOT stick out of the slot as much as the Panache stylus does.

I'm really surprised that no one has heard of this stylus. It's not found on the Visor Central website or even at amazon.com. You can check out the company at www.pentopia.com. I think it may be because it's new. who knows. But I have one myself and absolute think it's the best visor stylus out there.

Hope that helps.

PDA Panache custom visor stylus

I have a pda panache custom visor stylus and I like it. Yes it sticks out about 3 mm, but it's ok for my vaja case. There is a black and a chrome version. Don't by the black one, then its a bit thicker and is hard to put in and pull out.

The Pentopia Chameleon stylus is available from Stylus Central. The direct link is http://stores.yahoo.com/styluscentr...penchamfo1.html but it's a lot more fun to browse around the other items. I haven't found any site that has quite the selection that Stylus Central does. Their prices are usually pretty good, too, and, if you order more than $25 in products, they ship FREE! About the only major stylus/pens I've found that are NOT available at Stylus Central are Stylus+ and PDA Panache. (Stylus+, which usually gets good ratings, really is an Autopoint 4-way multipen.) They also now carry a good selection of PDA cases.
