Thumbs up

I purchased my Targus Stowaway keyboard for my new Platinum. The Stowaway is sturdy, easy to use, and very convenient. I bought it because I found myself having to go to the computer very frequently. The Stowaway solves the problem. I was very pleasantly surprised at the size of it when folded. It's just a bit bigger than my Platinum. I intend to take it with me on business trips. I ordered it from Amazon.com, and I received it withing four business days. Yes, it is a little expensive, but having used it, I think it's worth the price. The name of the game, for me, is convenience. I got rid of my DayTimer [a great system- I used it for 20 years] because Handspring Visors are very much more convenient and easy to use. The Stowaway allows me to mount the Platinum in the dock, and just type away. When I am ready to go, I grab it, and that's it. I do a sync whenever I get to the computer. All I want the Platinum to do is what it is designed to do: dates, notes, memos, and to-do lists. It does that very well. The Stowaway just makes those tasks easier.

Huh? You bought the stowaway just to use it with the built in apps? Most people who buy the stowaway buy it so that they can right long documents.

congrats on the new stowaway -- i bought mine back in May and use it virtually every day.. its great to keep up the datebook (I find that I enter much more information into it), note taking for classes, note taking for business related stuff, etc.. heck, I have even use the stowaway/visor combo to write speeches / presentations / bizplans / etc.. its a great combo -- and whats AWESOME is it fits VERY nicely on the fold out tray in an airplane when traveling .. (stowaway/visor/drpepper & some preztels)
