Exclamation Something wicked this way comes...

I was listening to last week's episode of Your Mac Life, and Andy Inotko mentioned that Handspring is going to release a new PDA within the next month that is going to be quite awesome...even compared to PocketPC. He didn't give out any specific details because he is under NDA, but it seems to have impressed him.

Hmm...what could this little device be?

Arrow Interesting

The only devices that I think that Handspring will release next month are the Treo 90 and perhaps the Treo 270 and CDMA. Why would Handspring release somethign new and exciting now when Palm OS 5 is right around the corner?

It's about 80-90% into the show. Just download the whole .Mov file and slide the Quicktime video slider to that point and you will hear Andy start bantering on about PDAs. This is where he mentions the "top secret" gadget from Handspring.

I think he's referring to the 270.

I almost hope this isn't true. I finally gave up on anything new from Handspring (outside the Treo line) and purchased a Sony NR-70 yesterday.
