Visor Pro contrast/backlight concerns

Heyaz,

I just got a pro yesterday & the screens seems a little washed compared to my 3xe. It's crisp & clear but it seems a bit washed at any contast level. Maybe it's because the screens is a higher resolution?? Also the 3xe backlight blows away the pro. The pro is impossible to see with the backlight unless the room is extremely dark. If the room is extemelt bright, the bl has no affect on either. Should I be concerned?

TIA

I don't think so. A worse case senario would be to return your unit for an exchange and see how the replacement compares. If it's the same, all is well. If it's better, you had a bunk unit. If it isn't worth the trouble, I'd say the unit is fine.

Thumbs up

I checked my Deluxe with my Pro and they're about the same. I don't think I'd worry about it too much. I had to adjust my contrast quite a bit when first setting it up to get it where I wanted it. I also bought my Pro through Best Buy and bought the extended warranty. (3 years) If my Pro fails they will replace it with an equivilent PDA.

OK, I returned it & the next one was worse. The screen was wayyyy off center. I returned the 2nd one & now I'm debating what to do next.
