Question

I just go my visor, I am new to pda. I would like to know what are the apps that I should install as far as..."a good database, launchem, and hack stuff..." also is there a good book out on visor, or on palm that would help me understand how the apps work, not just how to make them go?? thanks

Check out www.palmgear.com for their "The Essentials" list of applications. LOTS of other good stuff there as well.

Cool

Any newbie should be sure to hit these sites:

http://www.palmgear.com

If you are looking for a good reference book on Palms (and their relatives) get the PalmPilot: The Ultimate Guide (2nd Edition) from O'Reiley. Available at Amazon.com.

Most of the software is shareware. I'd try a program out for at least a week before buying it.
