I am thinking about purchasing a VisorPhone. I would like to connect to my ISP to check e-mail and the like. Can I just dial the ISP modem number with the Visorphone, or do I need the data service through my cell service provider?

I have an infrared cell phone (Ericsson CF888) and use Voicestream. I have never had to enable datastream! Just dial the ISP and go. It comes out of your regular minutes.
