Question HandyGPS Pro Antenna

Does anybody know where I can buy the external antenna for the HandyGPS Pro? The Nexian web site lists it, but it is out of stock. Is there any other antenna that will work?

We just bought the HandyGPS Pro, and we planned to use it on a trip next week. However, the module appears to be useless without the external antenna.

external antenna

I contacted their sales department by e-mail about this. They said that they didn't have enough to offer on the website yet, but I could get it by mail. I sent a check for the external antenna and the cigarette charger about ten days ago, haven't heard anything yet.

BillC, what are you using as a holder?

holder-reply

I'm still working on trying to get solid holder. The well of my Explorer has storage area that goes up under the temperature controls and I can prop it up in there at about a 75 degree angle. But I still have to take my eyes off the road to look down at it. I don't want to put my Prism up on the dashboard unless it's well secured. Anybody have any suggestions about a holder? By the way, the cartop antenna and the cigarette lighter charger work great.
