Re: Questions about SprintPCS Services

1) Wireless Web allows you to use standard airtime minutes for data calls. Without the option, you can still make data calls at a rate of .39/minute. You should be able to connect to your system at work.
2) Essentially the same answer as 1.
3) I'm not sure enough about the details of 3G to answer this question. I would assume that data connection speeds using 3G would be faster, enabling a 56k connection to a 56k dial-in. As for needing the Wireless Web, again, it's too early to tell but my guess would be the same rules as in 1 will apply.
4) If you only want to connect to your work system, I'm not sure there's any advantage in using Wireless Web except for the use of standard airtime minutes vs. the per minute charge.
I'm not sure that Sprint PCS knows yet exactly how they're going to market 3G when it's available next year in Q2 (I'm sure it will come with a price ). As of today, my understanding of the Wireless Web option basically means the difference in how airtime is charged. I was without the option on my account for the last 3 months of my old agreement, but could still use all the features, including the QNC connection, at the .39/minute rate. The current pricing for the option is only $5.00/month, so I've enabled it since renewing in November. Also, Sprint PCS really encourages you to use their Total Digital Connection plans with the Digital Link. These plans included Wireless Web and Voice Command.
