Angry Discoloration on Prism Screen

Devide your screen into four...There is a spot close to the middle of the upper left quadrant of the screen...It goes away when the screen is dark enough but I can notice it when the screen is white or is a light color...Has anyone else experienced this? Also what can I do?

I had that problem too. My solution: I opened the case to clean it behind the screan. That didn't help and then I turned it on before i put the screws back in. Well it was gone then, but after I screwed the screws back in, it came back again. So I figured, that the screws put some pressure on the screen and that this pressure caused the spot. I found out which screw it was, and now I keep this screw loose a little bit, just that I can't see the spot anymore. I hope, that helped you. In my case it is the upper right screw, since yours is more in the middle(my spot was on the edge), you maybe should try the middle screws first.
Good luck!

Angry Still Didn't Work

My prism is still under warranty so I'll just return it...I tried what you replied but it didn't work...loosening the screws didn't do much...so thanks for your help any way...The spot was still there when I loosened the screws...I'm just going to stop...
