Question

As most of you know, I work for CompUSA (hey, its only till school's done, honest! =) and Ive noticed that we're getting roughly a 60% return rate on Visor Deluxes. This has me moderately concerned. Anybody know if Handspring is having production issues? I cannot in good faith recommend them to customers till I find out exactly what the problem is.

Thanks

Unhappy

What are the reasons for the returns?

There are several reasons, some of which have to be operator error (I assume)... fatal exception errors, screen problems, there are several reasons that seem to be fairly common.

Cool

My first assumption would be that it is probably related to the 8 MB DRAM issue. When problems are detected, most people's first response is to just bring it back where they got it. They don't really think that there might be a software patch to fix the problem easier!

What about returns on the 8 MB Palm units?
