It looks rather intriguing to me, and the price doesn't look too bad. I'm wondering how people like/dislike theirs. I don't think it would replace my TI 89 or HP 48gx but it might be fun to have.

Well, try the demo ofthe software. I did.. And no offence, as good as it is, it's just not worth it.

PoweroneGraph is the best palm calculator there is, but the fact is, nothing can beat a TI-89. In fact the functions on the calculator are only equal to a TI-73, at best. I would reccomend to try the trial ofthe software, and decide if you like it. There are other calculators but the big thing is, is that so far they all suck. I've tried many, because the thought intrigued me.. but again the fact is, is you have to go through too many menus, their aren't as many features, the screen is too small for input and output.. etc..

Once again, try it for yourself. Powerone is the best so far, but that isn't sayign much

There is a free calc called "Easy Calc" that works quite well. Check Palmgear for it.

has any one thought to emulate the TI-89 on the handspring?
i am sure that the prism could handle it. texas instrumants has a pc application that emulates the calculator, i am sure some one could do a palm os emulation.

I've considered it. The '89 uses a 68000 processor, which is a functional subset of the Dragonball in the Visors--so it would need only be an API wrapper, rather than a full emulator. However, TI would likely defecate concrete masonry units. (They don't even like us to -program- the damn thing, much less emulate it.)

Of course, if TI was smart, their "Advanced Mathematic Software" (the OS on the 89 and 92) would be available for PalmOS. *g*
