Smile THANK YOU for Office Depot tip!

I just purchased a Visor Prism two days ago. Found this site and immediately learned that I probably should have saved up more $ and waited a bit to buy a pocket PC. Ah well, for what I need this ought to work for a couple of years. That will allow time for all the kinks to be worked out in the Pocket PCs or Treo types of devices.

Anyway -- wanted to thank all of you who mentioned Office Depot. Went to our local one right after work. They SAID they were all sold out. I insisted they look in the stock room. They found a Stowaway for Visor. Then they said it was $99 -- I told them to check -- they reduced it to $69. I asked them to check with other area Office Depot stores. By going to a different computer to get the store and part # they found the Stowaway for $49!!!! Needless to say I bought it. :-)

Without this site, I would not have had the information to push my case on the price. So I'm very happy with you all. Thanks again!!!

I hope that most of those users would rather say "You're welcome".

Yes, but at least you spelled everything correctly...

But I thought it was "grammar".

It's all in good fun, isn't it?

Speaking of which, I notice the spellchecker is not free anymore.

I was in Office Depot tonight and they had some unreal prices. Backup Module for $11.88. Prism Cradles for around $20.00.

They even had the Total Recall Voice Recorder listed at $34.00, but when I tried to purchase they were sold out.

Of course, the Magellan GPS Companion was still $149.99.

Thanks to the Office Depot posts I have picked up the Backup Module for $5.88 and the Flash Module for $15.88. Yesterday I was looking for the Stowaway keyboard, and the asst. manager was ready to sell it to me for $37.50, but when I noticed 2 more, she sold them to me at $25 each. She also threw in 2 Tiger Woods games at $4 each. Not too shabby for a Visor newbie!
