I use the 8mB module and use the following programs:

All of these programs work well together with the exception of TextPlus and WordSmith. It doesn't cause a crash but TextPlus doesn't work within WordSmith as it should. WordSmith is talking with the developers of TextPlus and I am hopeful that this can be worked out. Vindigo and Avantgo consume about 2.5 megabytes together. Between the 8mB module and the internal memory, I have 6.1 megabytes free.

This is a very stable environment with few if any crashes. I had to stop using EVplugBase in favor of Hackmaster and I had to forego using PopUpFavorites (this hack used to crash my Prism).

I, and I'm sure others, would like to know what works best for you.
