Hi all..

I read this discussion about upgrading the chip of Plat/Prism memory chips from 8 mb to 16 mb at:

Any idea if it really can be done??

I'm not good at soldering and stuff but if it is not too difficult, I'll love to start on my platinum..

From the disc. they mentioned that they took out the IC from an EDO Ram that has 16 mb in a single IC..

Has anyone try this?? If yes..do you mind posting the detail online??
