I own a Visor Prism. Currently I have a SoundsGood module, an 8MB Flash module, a Tiger Woods golf game module, and an Eyemodule2. I suspect that one of these days I'll get around to getting the Visor Phone. I also own the Stowaway keyboard. I use a combo stylus -- currently I'm using the Pentopia, but I prefer the YAFA 4. (I just haven't replaced mine after losing it yet.)

So what's my dream case?

It needs to be a leather bi-fold case, open at the top (for oversized modules and SoundsGood controls and earbeads. It needs to secure my Prism WITHOUT velcro. A spring- or tension system would probably work best.

The other side of the case needs two elastic straps (for holding up to two oversized modules) and two mini-pockets (for holding up to two standard modules). There needs to be a padded divider of some sort to protect the Prism's screen from the stowed modules.

The case needs to close without velcro. I don't mind the loop-type closure on the Targus keyboard/PDA combo case, but a lot of people hate it. I would like to see it loop to the front rather than the back, though. A snap (or even zipper) would be fine, too.

The exterior of the case needs a combo-stylus pocket.

Since this is my DREAM case, let's get really crazy. I'd like an easily detachable matching case that'll hold the Stowaway keyboard. I know that, attached, this would make the case really bulky, but it's still much better than lugging a laptop.

I currently own the Vaja case and the Targus combo-case. The Vaja case is gorgeous, but because I have my SoundsGood resident almost always, I had to mutilate the leather of the flap, so I can reach the controls. I also have to clip my stylus on as best I can. The Targus case is pretty good for when I need the keyboard ... everything is very secure. And I suppose I could shove modules in the keyboard compartment when I'm not using it. Again though, I have to clip my stylus on as I can. There's the loop which fastened at the back (oddly), and the ultimate sin: it secures the PDA with velcro.

So there it is. Ain't never gonna happen. But surely I'm not the only Visor user with an assortment of modules, a keyboard, and a full-sized stylus? Why aren't there cases for us?

dream case

Definitely need a case which can carry the stowaway keyboard and several (at least two) modules. I usually carry the keyboard, the backup module and the eyeModule.

I agree that velcro is a negative.

Good suggestions.

Still looking ...

I've checked out the Rhinos and the Grinder Gear. Note that none of them are open at the top for access to installed modules. I'd also be uncomfortable having my keyboard in the case with my delicate screen. Finally, the stylus holder needs to be on the outside ... I use the pen, too.

My case remains a dream.

But thanks.
