cell phone to visor?

This question has probably been asked, but I haven't been able to find exactly the info I need:

I have a Nokia 6160m with AT&T and a Visor Deluxe. Can I connect them to check email on the web?

Thanks for your help!

Question about internet

I don't think you're going to find an easy way to connect to the web with your hardware. The Visor deluxe is great--that's not your problem.
AT&T is TDMA network, and they have a limited number of phones that work with it. Last I checked (about a week ago), there were only two phones available on AT&T that even allow wireless internet capability, the Nokia 6160m is not one of them.

It depends on how bad you want your email on the go. I take it you are out a lot (your phone was designed for long talk time), and email may be a great thing to have in that situation. If you bought the 6160 for the talk time, you can just buy a new phone and switch providers, and increase your talk time with an extended battery. If you're on contract, you'll have to wait it out.

If you DO change providers and phones, I can't help but recommend the Nokia 8290---if you have GSM in your area.
You won't need a cable to connect it to your palm, it uses an infrared port.

Hope this helps
Dan
