Question VisorPhone

I have poor reception on my VisorPhone in too many areas (I am in the Bay Area) - does anyone except Cingular offer service for the VisorPhone?

OR

Has anyone tried one of those no-drop "things" (sorry to be sooo technical) that are advertised on TV that you place behind the battery on a cell phone?

Wink Talking to myself

OK so if no one replies I can answer myself....

I found the Internal Antenna Booster at www.88-cellular.com for $9.50.

Watch this space for the results.....

If you have five days to waste bidding on a $2.00 item. Walgreens has them in stock for a few bucks more, and you don't have to pay shipping.

Smile Outcome

Well, my new signal booster came in three days ago. I put it under the battery on my visorphone and here's what.....

It works - I wouldn't say (as does the ad) "with the power of a four foot ariel", but reception in several low signal areas (especially that really annoying dip on Highway 101 in Menlo Park where the signal almost always drops) has improved. Now I get a signal in the office (,that dip on 101) and in every room of my house!
