Question

Reading the Stowaway Keyboard preview today, I wondered about the comment on a possible projection module. Does anybody know if something like this is in the works? I'd buy one right away. What a great idea! Please, someone make this!!

Written later today: I don't know much about projectors, but it seems that this wouldn't really be that hard to make. It could use a "flip-up" magnifier to be compact, and maybe even one of those new super-bright photon lights. It would be small but simple. Seems like the only real involved part would be designing presentation software for it, hopefully in the style of powerpoint. If this would be too big, you could even just design a player for the visor, and make the actual presentations on a PC. Anybody have more information, or is anybody up for it?

i think the idea mentioned was to develop a module that you could load up with an i.e: powerpoint presentation, and then there would be a connections and cable to your standard office projection unit. i think most of them have the capability for SVHS? i think that's the type (i'm drawing a blank right now...) then the up and down buttons on the visor would control the 'slide' presentation. there would be no need to see the slide on the visor...perhaps notes?

I was thinking about this, and I think both versions would be great. An all-in-one that lets you point the Visor to a screen, and another version that lets you connect to a projector for larger audiances.

Cool

If you look into an old article of VC, this kind of presentation module is on the top of Jeff Hawkins' wish list. (but not the plan list )
