Fairly late in its lifespan, someone wrote a driver so that the Newton could use PCMCIA video cards. A few applications came out that would let a Newton drive a PowerPoint-like presentation via this interface. The presentation could be in color, even though the Newton did not support color.

Can you see what I'm thinking? A Springboard module that had RCA and SVHS out and which could send simple 640x480 16-color graphics out the video port would be great for presentations.
