Address Book & Eudora?

Well, I tried this one with Handspring tech support and, so far, nothing. So, here goes: assuming you have a Visorphone, Address Book will let you put email addresses in and then, when you highlight it, a button appears that says "email" (as in, "send an email to this address").

If you do this and nothing happens, a window opens telling you to select an email client from the dial preferences menu. And here's the problem: if you are using Eudora as your email client, the Address Book does not recognize it and will tell you that you have no email client.

I have not tried this with other email programs, but I like Eudora and would like to continue using it. Perhaps there is a third-party application to remedy it?

When composing a new email within Eudora, tapping on To: and cc: will allow you to select from entries in your address book. Will that work for you?

Yes, I found that too, however, when in the address book for other reasons (phoning, sending SMS), it would be preferable to use that app, rather than the more complex method via Eudora. I hope Handspring will fix this because it is clearly a flaw in the application (address book).

But thanks anyway for your suggestion.
