Does anyone know when the PDA Panache Custom Deluxe styli for the Visor will be available? The website says they will be ready by Dec. 1, but as of today you still can't order one online.

Cool

I checked out their site tonight and now they are listing them ($14.95, two different styles).

Question

Anybody see a picture of this anywhere? I tried to check their pics folder but I didn't see anything likely there.

I hopefully will be receiving some of their styli for review within a week. Expect a review soon after that.

I have their "Black Nail" stylus in my PalmPilot. It's a good stylus.

I have ordered mine too. I have since received an e-mail that they "need a few extra days for delivery of the stylus". Hopefully, it won't take as long as the Handspring product orders.

I happened to check PDAPanache today and the visor stylus picture was missing, so I sent them an email. Here is what they wrote back:
--------------
Hi Brian,

Thanks for contacting us. Yes, we won't have our new Visor stylus photos
shot until Dec. 10th. Our first shipments of the VIS-B go out tomorrow.
We've just opened up the page for orders from those customers who know
and trust us to do it right, and so don't need to see the photo. Sorry if
it threw you. Please check back Dec. 11th for a look.

Best regards,

Lightbulb

I received my PDApanache Black visor stylus
yesterday. I also own an original PalmPilot black stylus for my old retired PP.
The new stylus is slimmer to fit in the visor's slot, but very well balanced and has ridges in the area where your fingertips rest. It also has a reset pin underneath the cap. It fits well in the slot, partially sticking out 1/18 inches. Very well done.

I have also received the PDAPanache Black Visor stylus. What I like is the weight, the fit, the bright stlus tip, and the reset pin. What I don't like is the way it sticks out 1/8" (not 1/18" as posted above) for "easy access". I would prefer that it does not stick out at all. I had PDAPanache's "Black Nail" in my PalmPilot and really liked that -- that one fitted flush.

I do recommend this stylus though. Once the springboards finally start arriving, I suppose I'll get used to things sticking out the top of my BVD.
