Sorry for the basic level of these questions but I'm new to the Palm OS.

1. Is there a Grafiti shortcut for the "&" symbol?

2. How do you set up annual repeating events in Datebook+? (such as birthdays, anniversary, etc.)

3. I remember someone who had converted the Visor manual into doc format for reading on the visor. Anyone remember the thread or have a copy that they can email me?

Thanks for the help for a rookie. I don't know how I lived without this before. I was even using a paper organizer until now.

1. To create an "&", tap once (for punctuation shift) then do an "8").

2.To do a recurring event:
1 Create a new Floating Event.
2 With the event still active, tap "Details".
3 Tap "Repeat".
4 Tap "Year" (or any interval you need).
5 You can set options for the repeat (like every year or every other year). The message box at the bottom of the screen tells you how the event will be repeated (like "Dec 20th every year").
6. Tap "OK"

3. Here is a piece on .PDF files that may help: http://www.visorcentral.com/news.php3?id=193

Happy Visoring.

Thanks for the help. I did figure out the recurring event last night after the post but the Grafitti question was killing me. I also got an email today of someone who converted the Visor manual from .pdf to a readable DOC file on the Visor.

Hooverf16:

Here's a handy tip. In any application, just draw a vertical line from the bottom of the screen (graffiti area) to the top and a graffiti help screen pops up. Scroll down to view all graffiti strokes, including some you will probably never use.
