Forgive me, but what's the difference between this stuff and Carbon monoxide, Radon, propane gas, gas (petrol ), even electricity? they are all silent killers, unless I'm missing something.

I believe that the chemical formula for this is H2O.

Dihydrogen-Monoxide:
Dihydrogen= 2H
Monoxide= Single O
resulting in H2O aka water...

This site was writen as a parodie on all those health warnings you receive by email..

Kinda reminds me of a little rhyme that my high school chem teacher taught us:

Johnny was a chemist,
but Johnny is no more.
For what he thought was H20
Was H2SO4

Ah, the joys of poetry.

There once was a pirate named Bates,
who did the Fandango on skates.
He fell on his cutlass
which rendered him nutless
and thoroughly useless on dates.

Haha! Very funny, there are actually hundreads of sites on the internet in on this prank. At my HS all sophmores are required to do a report on this because our teacher wants to play a prank on them. However, most students don't find out what it is until after they are told in class. I held my head high as being one of the few who looked through the junk.
