I think seti has it setup so the founder needs to request an update .. I remember a while back it wasn't updating so Fishscaler manually regenerated the page (as per the instructions at the top)

In anycase, while processing a random sampling of radio waves from space for the obscure chance of getting some frequences that are not encoded (analog) from another galaxy has been kinda fun for the past few months, I am thinking about hooking up with the F@H project which seems more useful ....

I'll get to that sometime this evening: gotta find my password.

My stats haven't updated 'cause I'm sendin' them crunched-WU's once a week 'cause I'm crunchin' F@H most of the time.

S'pose I shoulda started an F@H group, first?

After a long wait, sorry, I couldn't upload, here's the DNA logo:

I dithered it to 4-colors in gray, and those are really tiny visors on the rungs. Comments?

Maybe stick the Folding@Home logo in the grafitti area below the screen? No need to keep that area blank.

BTW, maybe we should continue the F@H discussion under Other Distributed Projects thread, and keep this for SETI.

Cool I joined!

I just joined the team! I have 65 workunits done already. I have used SETI before. I am using a Athlon 750Mhz running Windows Whistler (very cool) and am running the client on 7 other computers.

My Stats Read:

Data Units Completed: 65

Total Computer Time: 1208 hr. 10 min.

I have completed more work units than 81% of their users.

Is anyone else having problems connecting to Seti? I can't seem to connect to get a new data unit. And I can't get to the Handspring Visor Crunchers Society page. Is it just me?

The fiber that lead to these servers were cut. According to newsgroups postings, may take until friday to get it back up.

ATT are running new fiber.

I think you can get WUs on ebay now.:-)

I just joined

I saw lennonhead's logo on a post and clicked to find a Visor group, so I added my 360 data units to the group.
