Question

My Prism is turning itself on occasionally. The funny thing is that it's only happening lately. The only new app that I have loaded recently is MiniJam. I have checked all alarms and none are set.

Has anyone experienced this?

Any help would be appreciated.

The MiniJam is most likely the culprit there. If you do not shut down the MiniJam module by holding the right-most button (the one with the round circle on it) when you are done using it, it will wait until the Sleep Timeout period goes by and then it shuts down itself. The Sleep Tiemout settings are in the preferences dropdown menu in the Minijukebox app.

When the MiniJam shuts down, it tells you it is shutting down on the screen, causing the screen to wake. I'll bet that's what's happenning to you.

FYI, if you do not manually shut down the module by holding down the button I mentioned above, it still eats batteries until it goes into sleep timeout...

Unhappy my prism is turning itself on too

I am having the same problem after installing the minijam. I think it may have something to do with the minijam shutting down automatically. But sometimes it does it and I could swear it was off. I have not observed this phenomenon with the minijam out of the vpr.
