Hello,
Just wondering how one protects one's screen while using the snap-on springboard attachement since it seems like the flip-case must be removed to access the edge connector.
I have the soundsgood player which is in use virtually all the time when I'm on the go. When I'm at the office, I don't need any springboards, so a slimmer visor is appealing.

Screen Protection with Springboard attached
I don't know that you can protect the screen when the springboard adapter is attached.
Is it a big deal? I'm not sure that it is. I've had my Palm Vx since its introduction and - shame on me - I have rarely used a case for it. The still screen looks great. I've routinely had it in my pants pocket and on the car seat next to me unprotected and had no problems. Even dropped it a couple of times. D'oh!
The Edge feels more durable to me than the Vx does, IMHO. I know that this isn't exactly the answer you wanted but Handspring hasn't fully considered screen protection in its Visor Edge design.
