just because it is there doesn't mean you have to use it to open up the handspring.

Happy Treo 600 user, so far. Thanx Cingular for having an unlocked phone.
My Treo 600 is my phone, my PDA, my watch, and my MP3 player. Oh yeah, I take a picture once in a while with it. Convergence is such a great thing.

Why did they put that on there?
Was it just for any use at all or something?

Heck- why complain about a small freebie that comes in handy?
I always figured they put it there because they know that hobbiests like most of us love to tinker and don't care much about breaking the warranty.

I have found that the screwdriver is often the most useful thing in my pocket! (Fixing glasses, using to poke through things etc..) I'm dissapointed that the Treo doesn't have a screwdriver, but I have been told it was very expensive for Handspring to put in.
The screwdriver I find rather useless other then maybe tightening the screws if they become loose, or poking aorund after the warranty is up!

I find Handspring's stylus screwdriver to be very un-useful at fixing glasses -- it's a phillips head driver, and every pair of glasses I have ever owned uses the ordinary "flat" notch screws. (or whatever that's called.)

I've found that (at least the first time) I can't get enough leverage on the little thing to unscrew those little screws on the back of the Visor...I've only really used it once so it's something I won't miss when I jump to the Treo...does the Treo still have the unscrewable reset pin? that I find really useful, though I like how on my dad's iPaq they made the tip of the stylus small enough to fit into the enlargened reset hole so you don't have to unscrew anything or carry a paper clip around.
