I was very excited to receive my MCI packet with Gift Certificate today... but then I went to Amazon.com and was about to purchase about $30 worth of merchandise, when I suddenly became concerned that the remaining $120 would not necessarily be placed as a credit to my account. After all, the Certificate DOES indicate that entering the discount code gives you "UP TO $150 on your order..." so one could interpret that to mean that whatever you don't use on your initial order, you lose. I know others have gotten the credit, but is it possible Amazon got smart and stopped crediting the balance to the purchasers' accounts? I just don't know how to make sure the credit will be applied before I risk wasting the balance of the discount, so I was going to just purchase a full $150 worth of stuff and forget about trying to combine the additional $100 off Amazon promotional offer...any suggestions?

Well, I called up MCI last night, and switched my phone service to them (actually from residential to business, it used to be MCI, and still is, but they gave me the certificate anyways), and the 150 dollar cupon is in the mail. My only problem is that the cupon is going to arrive after the amazon 50 dollar off deal is over, so I developed another plan. Because I have two residences, I'm going to switch the phone bill for the other residence to MCI, and get a seconde certificate, which will give me 300 dollars off to amazon. From there I"m going to buy myself an eyemodule for my new prism, and suffer the cost of 300 for the prism, could be worse I guess.

Yes I am only 16 (soon to be 17 ). All I did was call MCI (with permission from my father), and had them switch the phones over. After that they did send me to some third party verification company, but it was easy to get by them. All they asked was my birthday, easy for me to give my fathers.

So to answer you're question, if you're daughter knows when you were born, then she can change the lines.
