With Windows 2000, you can hibernate your system and turn the system off, and when you turn the computer back on, you are exactly where you left off. Well, when I come back and try to hotsync, the system finds a "USB Device" instead of my visor. I then have to remove the USB Device AND the Visor from my system properties to get it to recognize the Visor again. Sometimes even THAT doesn't work. So, just be careful when you hibernate.

The situation has not really improved much from Win95 days. I've seen many odd problems on a variety of systems (desktops and laptops) go away when the power saving features are turned off. And, yes. This is also true of Windows 2000. BTW, this observation also applies to screen savers.
