I just got my belt clip case from Handspring a couple days ago. Several people were wondering what this thing was like so here it is:
The case fits (slides) snugly over the front of the Visor and snaps into place with two little knobs at the top. It is surprisingly secure.
Better yet, the case is hard an will make an excellent replacement for the old removeable cover.
Also, the case covers the visor face completely and wraps around the sides, so there is even less chance of dirt/dust getting in than with the old cover.
The clip is about 1.5 inches long and so far has not slipped on my belt. It also rides well in the car, does not obstruct the seat belt.
If all you want is a belt clip and no extras, this is a great buy.

Where did you get this case? I don't see it anywhere on the Handspring site. Did you get it from somewhere else?

Heyday

It is on the handspring site under cases, then under value cases.

hey crazy,

thanks for your info on the handspring belt clip case.

A few questions.
Do you feel visor is well protected?
Can you hotsync with visor in case?
Is the Ir port blocked?
Do you have to remove visor from case to operate?
How easy is it to remove visor from case?
Is the workmanship good?

Thanks for your input.

Yes

No

It slides easily out, but some pressure must be applied to get over the 'knobs'. Accidental removal is unlikely.

>Is the workmanship good?
I believe it is.
