Hey JP2, If you think the posts are bad now, you should of been around here back in Nov. and Dec.!
I ordered my IVD the beginning of Dec. for a Christmas gift to myself. I was convinced the following would occur.
1) I would not get it until March.
2) When I would finally get it, it would not have a hotsync cradle
3) the hot sync cable would come in April.
4) I would have to send my IVD back because it was not working properly.(I would wait 3 months for a replacement)
5) Handspring would charge my credit card 3 times and send me 2 Visors.
Well none of that happened. I ordered in early Dec. and received my Visor before Christmas. No problems as of yet, and I am a happy Handspring customer. All of my friends who I recommended the visor to had the same experience as I.
From my retail experience, customers will rarely say anything good about a company, if their expectations of service are satisfied. They will be happy of course, because the company held up their side of the contract. When a company fails to keep their side of the contract, and fails to meet the customers exceptions, look out flame city!
So you will see more negative posts then positive. In my business negative e-mails are constructive because it is valuable feedback about my business. A positive letter is worth its weight in gold. Not many happy customers will take the time to let you know they are happy. For every 10-20 negative e-mails, you will get 1 positive e-mail. Just a fact of life.
Boy this turned into a long post. I hope that helps.
