problems with prism

I'm having problems that I have never seen nor heard of on my Prism. I'll list them...

1) Power button is loose

2) Paint wareing off

3) case loose around power button area

4) crack (?) very near HotSync connector (well, it looks like it)

5) space between screen and case near power button

I need your opinion...should i send it back to Handspring for repairs? I got it 4 months ago. I've never droped it.

I've read on this board that some of the earlier Prisms had cases that were of cheaper material and paint quality than the newer ones, and Handspring was replacing these. If your serial no. indicates that you have an early one, your warranty should cover the defects.

Good luck!

i've read the serial number on it, and i've interpreted as being built in April of this year (2002).

I'm ever so getting closer to a Clie...
