I need help with setting up hot sync...on a different machine with a "serial" cradle

I have had hot sync capabilities on my one machine and then it started getting squirrely so I added another cradle to my other computer...I downloaded palm desktop but when it attempts to sync first it asked for a password. I changed my password on my palm and then it just kept saying that it was interrupted and to check the log...which said "it was interrupted" This is making me crazy.
I can't remember how I got it to download to my MS outlook before ...and now I'm really lost???

If you're talking about the Outlook PIM functions (Calendar, Notes, Contacts, ToDo's), you need to install the PocketMirror conduit. You should have been given that option during the setup for the Palm Desktop.
