I just downloaded handsum, picked and picked up the 800# from the travel section. Views and starts fine bu when I switch to a different app (either silkscreen or hardkeys) It Fatal Errors with a Fatal Exception. Anyone else experienced a similar problem?
I first thought it may have had a problem switching to Launcher III so I tried re-enableing the PalmOS interface.

Did you download it with Netscape? I use NS, and if you download a Palm file (.pdb etc) using NS it corrupts the file (inserts <cr>s into it or something). Remove the files off your Visor and download it again using IE.
BTW, this is a good reason to have all PalmOS files in .zip format so there is no chance of corruption.
I had the same problem so I tried using GetRight and then Microsoft IE5. With the same results. I sent off and E-mail to HandSum and got this reply........
Dear Robert:
Thank you for your comments and I hope that you are patient with us while we
work through some of the quirks during our beta launch. I agree as well
that the problem that occurred is unacceptable.
I personally apologize and we will work to fix this problem.
Thank you for informing us.

Did you find an email address on handsums' site? I poked around but couldn't find anything obvious.
On a second note, I just looked at their pdb file, and its clear text! You would think that they would implement a compression algorithm, both bzip and gzip are GNUd, no license problems ala zip. Lets hope for this in a future release. I must admit I like the open document idea they are promoting.
