A couple of questions from a newbie

Hello all, I am planning on ordering a Visor Prism soon but I do have a couple of questions:

1. Is the battery replaceable and is it easy to replace?

2. What is the best keyboard for the Prism?

3. If I have Doc to Go 3.0 on a CD for a Palm that I owned, can I download it to the Prism?

4. How easy to use is the Memplug CF I Module?

5. How long does the battery last?

That's it for now. I appreciate all the support out there.

Yes and/ or no...It's whatever you choose.... You can replace the battery yourself if you want to break the warrenty...but to replace it "legaly", you would need to send the unit to Handspring.

I don't know what other people think....but it has to be the Stowaway keyboard. If you look online....you should get it for around $79.

leave 3 and 4 to someone else.....

Handspring claims it to be 6 weeks of "normal" use. For me, if u play games on it a lot....it lasts about 5-6hrs...but's that's for mine....mine has some sort of defect... (see post.."Please Help!)

i have the stowaway and the snap and type...both are good i use the stowaway for meetings and the snap and type for the train

3. If I have Doc to Go 3.0 on a CD for a Palm that I owned, can I download it to the Prism?

if u use the same hotsync name s/b no prob

4. How easy to use is the Memplug CF I Module?

i had one it is easy but drains power like crazy...i ended up selling mine on ebay

5. How long does the battery last?

the charge lasts me more than 1 day (but i keep it in the cradle @ the office and at nite) but i use fast cpu to *decrease* the speed of certain applications to conserve battery when i am out of the office..
