Question On Screen Keyboard

Hi I have a Visor Deluxe, and when I try and use the on-screen keyboard, the digitizer is very incorrect even after adjusting it (tapping the screen in several places). It also extends down to the menu and home keys and graffiti writing section. Is there a patch or a hack that will fix this?

Thanks,

CNR

this happens often to me too, just go into the prefs and redo the digitizer setup, you know where you gotta tap in the arrows and such?

should work

Actually, let me clarify the problem a bit more. I was playing a card game (solitare) and found that I could not put a card in the very left hand pile.

Basically, what happens when you drag the pen along the left side of the screen, it drags the card in bumps, about a half inch into the center of the screen, so if you point at one section of the screen, it may recognize it as a point 1/2 inch to the right.

There are two sections (the 'bumps'), and basically if you click in the middle of the menu button it will bring up the contrast bar.

This also happens right after you set the calibration, so that is not the issue. The screen (visually) is in perfect condition.

I would like to know if anybody else has or does have this problem. This visor is well out of warranty, but I would like to know if there are any patches to fix this. Could the digitizer be broken, and how easy/expensive is it to fix and is it worth it?

Thanks,

CNR
