Well, thanks for the help, guys, but I think I'm gonna take the easy way out....just forward my corporate mail to my Yahoo or Prodigy account when I'm out of the office. 2 days of banging my head against a brick wall has become tiresome.
Be careful forwarding your company email outside the company. Some companies have security policies in place that make this action terminable.
When you say you are connecting fine to your ISP's POP account, but not your corporate account, are you connecting to a corporate PPP dialup connection like an internal Shiva or Rack8000 controller for access? Is your corporate mail server behind a firewall that makes it invisible from the ISP you did connect with?
At my company, everything is behind a firewall from the Internet, and we have to dial into a corporate PPP server in order to get mail off any of the corporate servers. We have VPN access as well, but the handheld support for VPN connections is very limited at this time.
