A perfect example of where technology can take us...

James has a preview of a new product called Thalia. Part of the family of devices is a Springboard module that also doubles as a cordless phone!

A couple of things caught my eye

1) it's from a consumer company and not a "techie" company. Sort of validates the springboard thing.

2) it works with X10!!! I've already got my lights setup with X10 modules, so now i have a reason to get the spring board!!

i've only started to imagine the potential!

Looks great, but I hope nobody holds their breath! "Targeting late 2000" almost certainly means Summer 2001!

Well they've been demoing it at various home shows, so hopefully it's on track.
