Talking

Hi folks!

Last night, my husband and I went to see Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon (a GREAT must-see, by the way) with another couple.

My husband and I both have our own Vdx (mine in blue, his in green), and the husband of the other couple, who has had his own Graphite Vdx for some months, just gave his wife a Visor for Christmas.

There we were, sitting in the movie theater, the four Visor owners, beaming games and address info to each other. I'm not sure if people were pointing and laughing at us, but it sure was fun!!

Oh no ... does this mean the opening screen shot of the movie will have to be changed to: Please, no smoking, loud talking or BEAMING allowed. Please turn off all cell phones, pagers, and PDA's. ?????????????

Cool

That was an awesome movie as long as you're prepared for a drama first and martial arts second (It's also in Chinese w/subtitles for those who didn't know). I have to see it again without some oaf opening his cans of soda next to me or the cell phone ringing a few seats in front. (I should have flashed my Surefire 6P in his face and asked if he needed help or poked a hole in the can with my Spyderco Starmate)

Me and a friend of mine were beaming things with eachother just for the fun of beaming. Eventually we ran out of things to beam, so he starts to beam me his dad's buisness card, it got a little rediculous. Yes that is geekdom. But if you don't mind the other people, it's fun!
