I have read coments about some of the neoprene cases that use velcro to attach the visor. Why couldnt a person just attach the velcro to the plastic face protector and then clip that to the back of the visor.
Is this possible or am I missing something here?

I guess you could. I actually had assumed that all cases worked that way, as opposed to attaching velcro to the VDX itself -- I know at least some do...
Personally, I just use a modified version of the leather case mine came with...

I used the Visor hardcover and velcro'd it into the upper left inside of a Dayrunner Classic(?) (used 5x8 paper). Anyway, it works great, and holds the Visor just fine. I don't use it that much as I bought the Handspring Bi-fold leather case and use it as my (rather fat) wallet. (I also don't use the dayrunner as much anymore either....)
Just my .02 cents.
