Angry

Right at the top of the Visorcentral homepage, where I usually look to see the latest Visor news, was a big article on the Handspring Modem. I thought, "What? Is something new?" Doesnt look like it. This modem has been out for a long time, so I guess this is just a big commercial paid by Handspring... perhaps due to the Thincom coming? So, where does one turn for real news?

Just to clarify (and somewhat defend VisorCentral )... that was a REVIEW of the Handspring Modem, not a NEWS article. I don't believe that there was any secret agenda involving the Thincom.

Talking

You are probably right. But still, couldnt there be some seperation of news and reviews? Or am I just missing it?

Cool

Yes, you are missing it. The seperation is quite obvious: the left side are reviews and articles, and the right side are news and polls, all are clearly labeled.

Exclamation

No conspiracy here! It was a while before I could get the Handspring modem review done, although I did want to finish it before I got the Thincom in so I could compare the two some. As others have said, news goes in the right column, while reviews and articles are in the center.

As for the Thincom, I should be getting it in today or Wed and hopefully have it done by Monday if all goes well.

big blue letters, dude, "latest reviews."

then a big ol' horizontal line

then more big blue letters, "latest articles."

to the right of all this, is a huge vertical line and at the top of this incredibly clearly delineated section are some more, you guessed it, big blue letters, this time with a logo, "visor news."

if you've got a fight to pick, don't do it here, these guys are golden.
