I've been havign the intermittent problems with the USB hotsync at work. Soft reset sometimes fixes it, other times not. Tonight, same problem, soft reset didn't seem to do anything, finally messed with the USB devices in under "My Computer", deleted the usb hub and had Win98SE reinstall it.

Then the idea struck - I can't EVER recall a problem with my USB CABLE that I use at home to sync. Anyone else have the USB cable and have PROBLEMS? If people have the same problems with the USB cable, then this idea is garbage, but if not, then we might have a culprit - the cradle itself.

Post your experiences with the cable - I'd agree to send my cradle back to HS if they send me a USB cable in return...
