How to Uninstall Palm Desktop Completely

I installed the Eudora Internet Suite on both my home and my work machines running Windows XP. I decided that I didn't like the product so I uninstalled it from both machines. Now neither desktop will synch with the standard Mail program on my VDX. I tried uninstalling Palm Desktop and reinstalling, yet it continues to lock up when trying to synch mail. When I uninstall Palm OS 4 is there some remnant left in the Windows Registry that should be deleted, or is it more likely that uninstalling the Eudora conduit corrupted the Outlook program, insofar as Hotsynching is concerned?

For starters, are you sure the Eudora conduit is gone from HotSync? Next, have you tried re-configuring the Mail conduit using the Mail Setup app on the desktop?

Yes, it is gone from Hotsynch, and additionally removed from the machine using the add/remove feature.

Yes, I have reconfigured the mail conduit (in fact, I have uninstalled the Palm Desktop and reinstalled atleast three times). I also tried "restoring" my desktop to a date earlier than my Eudora installation...no effect.

I have also tried hotsynching my VDX after giving it a hard reset, to see if the problem was with the handheld. It was not.

This leaves only...as near as I can tell...a corrupted Outlook. As this happened on both an WIndows XP machine running Office XP and one running Windows XP and Office 2000 I am concerned that the product has a serious incompatibility with Windows XP, or it just plain sucks. Perhaps both.
