New Kyocera SmartPhone
By: Jupe @ 02:11 PM

I'm surprised I haven't seen any other posts on this (maybe I missed them - I've been out of town). CNET has a 'First Take' of the Kyocera 7135. It looks interesting. It has a hires color screen, an expansion slot (sd/mmc), and it uses grafitti. I've been wanting a combo device but I was waiting for one with those features.

One thing that concerns me,
quote:
"We found that people want to use our smart phones first and foremost as phones and secondarily as handheld organizers," says Rick Goetter, Kyocera's senior product manager of convergence devices. "So they want a device that looks and feels like a cell phone."
That's not me, I want it to be a palm first and a phone second but I suspect that I am in the minority. Still this device looks cool. What do you guys think?

Happy Treo 600 user, so far. Thanx Cingular for having an unlocked phone.

My Treo 600 is my phone, my PDA, my watch, and my MP3 player. Oh yeah, I take a picture once in a while with it. Convergence is such a great thing.
