Recommendations for a VisorPhone case?

Guys -

Need your input on which case to buy for my Visor Plat now that I've got the Visor Phone...

I was thinking about the Handspring Leather case with the belt clip...what do other people like?

thanks!!!

Most people seem to like the E&B Slipper or Vaja. The Handspring one is cheaper but you have to take it out of the case to use it.

I use the E&B slipper for my VPR + visorphone. It's a very nice case, but at least for me it has been implicated in the notorious "echo" problem. When the phone is in the case, people on the other end of the line hear their own voice echoing back. Take it out of the case - no echo. So I use the earphone almost all the time.

I have the Handspring VP case and you only have to take the visor out of it when you want to make calls. Receiving phone calls you can do while it's still in the case but there's that echo problem. So most of the time i take the visor out to talk, but it's nice not needing to take it out when you only have one hand available. Overall I'm satisfied with the handspring vp case.

I have the E&B Slipper and *mostly* like it. Very high quality construction. The one aspect that I find annoying is that I have to physically hold the front cover up/open to do *anything* with the unit in the case.....unless it's sitting flat on some surface.....which makes it hard for these old eyes to read. The cutout for power button access is a little small IMO as well, but that I can live with.

Was all set to spring for the Vaja which would alleviate the above, but then it doesn't have the nifty little storage pocket on back (below the module 'bulge') to store the headset.

Sigh......In both 'cases'.....'So close, yet so far.'
