Did you know you can remap the button on the Minstrel to launch any application? I remapped it to launch the Power app so I can shut it down quickly. Go to Prefs>Buttons>HotSync>Minstrel and pick an app.

Unlike the buttons on the Visor itself, the Minstrel button only works when the Visor is already turned on. You can't use it to start the Visor and go directly to whichever program you've set it for, as you can with the other four buttons. That's why the Power Off app is a good use for that button; I use it for the same one.

Actually, you can. I just tested it. I set the Minstrel button to activate City Time. I turned everything off. I hit the Minstrel button and the screen went from dark to City Time.

I, too, prefer to use this button to activate the Power Switch. Thanks gadgetguru -- I had no idea this could be done!
