Unhappy

Any one else getting fatal resets? It seems that after using the GPS for a while I will get a fatal reset. This ALWAYS happens. I use the NAV companion software get the reset usually after a half hour or so continued use.
I do have the newest software from Magellan.

I haven't had any fatal resets with the Companion in several months of using it...yet, at least

Never happenned to me either. I wonder if it's a software conflict? Got any hacks running that you can deactivate?

Yes, I use
X-Master 1.2
Afterburner 3.0u
TapPad 1.10

Also I have Datebk4 4.0d-s3

I have gotten into the habit of inactivating the afterburner before I use the GPS software and it still happens. I do get occasional fatal exceptions randomly when I'm not even using the device so I am thinking that maybe datebk4 is doing stuff in the background with timers and alarms.

I'm using Datebk 4 also and still am not getting fatal resets with my Magellan (I do get them with my Geode after it's been on for a long time, sometimes, but not the GPS Companion)

I also have BigClock 2.7 and I have a hunch that most of the time when I get the fatal exceptions it happens when I forget to stop a timer. The timer will have been running for maybe 2 days. I just deleted Bigclock to see if that is it.
Is anyone overclocking the MAP or NAV software? I would like to try that or maybe get a Platinum.

I have not been able to run afterburner with the GPS companion. If I activate AB (3.0t) and then insert the GPS module, it will give me an error and I have to reset. If I insert the module and then activate AB, the error occurs when I leave the hack manager. It doesn't matter the frequency I try, just activating AB is enough... I've tried with TealMaster and X-master, same results.

Also, I've noticed that just deactivating AB in X-master doesn't reset all settings (benchmark still gives me 260% after!) so beware...

So far here is what I have. Magellen has not gotten back to me as yet.

When running the NAV companion program I get a fatal reset when an alarm goes off in DateBK4.

The alarm screen pops up and when I hit OK it goes into a fatal reset.

Also if BigClock has timers running for a long time it randomly goes fatal reset.

I have not gotten a single reset since deleting bigclock. About 2 1/2 hours of GPSing.
