Bookmarking New Posts Search

Thanks in advance for your patience with a relatively newbile question.
Is it possible for one to set up a "favourite" in IE 5 to go straight to the day's new posts?
I tried doing this in the conventional manner, but after a day, the search is too broad, and includes posts I've already read.
Again, thanks.

Question

So I can take this as a "no"?

Yes, I believe you can. Depending on what browser you use and what type of machine your using, I can tell you how. If you're on a PC (i.e. not a Mac) running IE 5, click the "View New Posts" link. When the page comes up, open the "Favorites" menu and choose "Add to Favorites." Choose where in your favorites you want to save it and hit OK. Voila, shortcut to new posts.

That's one way to do it. Another, using IE5, is to right click on the "View new Posts" and choose the "Add to Favorites" choice. Then do the favorites thing and you're done.

Burns, that's how you do it on a Mac, too. Or you could just do Control-D (PC or Command-D (Mac) and it will appear at the bottom of your bookmark list.

Thanks

Many thanks for the help. For the record, I had already tried Burns' suggestion ("the conventional manner"), but for some reason it returned too many results a day or so after I added it to my Favourites folder.
But I'll give it a shot. Thanks again for the replies.

On a mac, there's an easier way. Just drag the VIEW NEW POSTS link to your favorites bar.

Simple.

You can do the same with a PC.
